I literally stabbed myself in the back last night
Blood
It hurt but I didnβt think it did any damage so I went to bed.
Woke up this morning, I had bled through my shirt and sheets
Not a huge amount of blood but enough to scare the hell out of my groggy morning ass
Blood
Anyway, I peeled myself out of my crusty shirt, irrigated and sterilized the wound, and taped a nonstick gauze over it
Which is really hard to do on your own back!
So, the moral is, donβt stab yourself in the back with a sharpened gun barrel, or something
@RobinHood How'd you manage that?
@RobinHood lmao nice
@RobinHood Are... Are you ok?
@RobinHood Robin. ROBIN. Please stop stabbing yourself with your several-design-generations-archaic gun.
@RobinHood At least have the decency to be like me, who managed to scald his hand on his only singly-archaic gun.
Blood
@RobinHood
imagine waking up and being like aw damn I *did* stab myself last night
Blood
@RobinHood Ha, that reminds me of when I was sleeping (face down), my nose bled while sleeping, and I woke up to a (small, but still) pond of blood. Like, literally the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes, still half-asleep π¬
@RobinHood why was it sharp?
@cuttlefish itβs kinda in this weird point in the rifle building process when I file the flats on an octagonal barrel the edges at both ends get really sharp.
Iβll chamfer the edges once Iβm done filing the flats, so the finished barrel wonβt be sharp at all!
@RobinHood o u c h
I had an octagonal barrel chucked into a vise on my workbench, I was draw filing the barrel flats to get rid of the machining marks and true them up.
Well, I sort of stepped past the barrel and leaned over the bench to get a tool, and when I straightened up, I shanked myself with the sharp edge at the end of the barrel.
