My great grandfather built this farm with his *bare hands
@RobinHood my great-grandfather built this farm with his bare friends. it was a naturist commune
@anarchiv @RobinHood Okay but seriously like the naturist club I grew up going to (and lived at for 18 months as a new adult!) was straight up initially an old pine plantation and inthe 60's a group of twelve bought it and worked on it together
They dug a frigging 12m x 4 or 6m swimming pool in stony soil together BY HAND bc they couldn't afford diggers and shit.
It's a /really/ nice property now.
Nowawdays, well, for a bunch of ex-hippies that like to run around naked, they're suprisingly conservative and have a big drinking culture I dislike. I really, really do hope that it can grow again though, because it really is a good place.
(There might well be something similar that you can get to, even if it's a trip away for a few days in summer)
@anarchiv Ahh that's a bummer, though I suppose I'm not really suprised.
It's difficult because I'd love to get more young people involved in naturism, to keep the clubs active and such, but at the same time I'm not really comfortable bringing people to naturist events because of the conservatism of many of the people there (heck, I'm getting uncomf going to those now too, even more so that I'm about to start hrt)
@certifiedperson ooh good luck with that and all
@RobinHood Collectivism > Individualism
A cool and chill place for cool and chill people.
